Must Love Dogs

If you want a chick flick, this is one you might want to check out. Despite being totally predictable, and a little sappy, it is a cute movie. John Cusack is as always, a charismatic nut and Diane Lane is that neurotic desperate woman. But ultimately it works out for everyone, well almost everyone. Dermot Mulroney character seems to be a missing piece. The movie tries to set up a love triangle, but towards the end, Dermot disappears. It is weird that they would introduce this character and have a sort of romance then have no conflict between the two guys. It doesn't have to be Bridgette Jones where the two guys fight, but there should have been some confrontation which led to the separation before the two main characters realize they are desperately in love and find each other again. But...Hollywood will always do something to ruin a perfectly good movie.
