I saw this movie edited, and I missed a lot. There were some scences that seemed to jump forward several minutes, so it was a bit confusing. I guess there was a good reason for it being rated R.

This movie did bring back Ben Foster. I haven't seen him since his days on Flash Forward. This was a totally different character for him. But I think this is the movie that helped him get his role in the new X-Men movie where he plays Warren Worthington.

I found this movie very interesting. It was a hostage situation inside of a hostage situation. It was thrilling, and I will be fun to see it on T.V. It will probably make more sense. Anyway, I would recommend this movie, as long as it is edited.

End of the semesters are always hard. It means saying good bye to old friends. This one is particularly hard because everyone is graduating and moving on. So I guess this is goodbye to the guys in 346. They made college fun!

Internet Friendly?

I have pondered putting a picture of myself on the blog. But then I remember terrible stories of girls heads being pasted on bodies. I am so worried someone will photoshop my head on some other picture. Am I being paranoid, or realistic? Or there are those stories of crazy men stalking women using the internet. Would putting my picture up just make it easier? Not that this would happen, but the possiblity makes me question the how safe it is to post a picture. I probably won't until I am in my forties, not that anyone really looks at my blog anyway, but at least I will feel safe.

Finals

Most college students hate finals. They stress over possible grades, and whether or not they will pass. I often read of the best ways to not get stressed out during finals week. There are such suggestions as get enough sleep, exercise, and eat properly. I find it amusing that these are the suggestions given, seeing as most college students don't do any of those things during the semester let alone during the week when they have no time to do it.

So here is my advice. Don't stress! Just look over your notes, and whatever grade you get, don't worry. Unless you fail, but then really you should have prepared better. And if you have the option of sleeping, take it. Don't stay up all night trying to cram, because it doesn't work. It is better to get a full eight hours of sleep and start studying fresh.

And the best advice is go to class during the semester so you don't stress about not knowing anything. You learn 70-80% of the course information in class.

I think this movie was supposed to be a psychological thriller. It was slow, very slow. During the first hour I just kept thinking is anything going to happen? All we see is this little girl get more and more weird. Then the way they end the movie is messed up. I have got to say that Hollywood needs to figure out how to make better endings if they want people to buy their movies.

Easter

Easter use to be so fun. I remember waiting for the Easter bunny to come (still don't know why we have a bunny) so we could run and find the eggs. Now that I am older, in college, and my family is a few states away, Easter isn't fun anymore.

I guess that is what happens when you get older. My birthday isn't fun, Halloween isn't fun, pretty much every holiday except Christmas and Thanksgiving are no longer fun. And I am sure those get less fun as you get married and have to figure out who to visit each year.

What can we do to capture that childhood innocence again and make holidays fun again?

Addicted to Blogging

I think this addiction needs a name. Blogaholic, blog addict, blunky, well whatever you call it, I have it. I find myself surfing more and more blogs, making comments on complete strangers pages, and wanting to write something on my page more than once a day. I limit myself, and what I say so that I will not become so addicted that I can't pull myself away.

It is crazy, every morning I wake up and check my favorite blogs. If they have not been updated, I get upset. I want to publish comments that say, update your blog! Of course I understand the lack of updating. I don't do it everyday. Usually it is because I have nothing to say, although if you talk to me, I usually always have something to say. And really I would rather read blogs than update them. Updating my blog is just what I do when my favorite blogs aren't updated. (346smc-this means you, I don't care if you are busy...write something for my sanity!) Hopefully you bloga-whatevers out there find something interesting on my page, although now that I think about it there probably isn't. Oh well, have fun surfing the blogs. And if you find yourself unable to stop, get some help.

This movie was pretty good up until the end. Then it was just stupid. I hate when movies seem to have a really good idea, but can't figure out a way to end it well. It just makes the whole movie stink. Posted by Picasa

This movie wasn't very scary, it was more disgusting. It was hard to watch the mutilation, and I was watching an edited version. This is not a good movie...for anyone, anywhere. It wasn't thought provoking or interesting. It was just plain gory. Posted by Picasa

Great movie. The first time I saw it, I didn't enjoy it as much because I was constantly making comparisons to the A&E version. But this is a GREAT movie. I definitely recommend it. It holds true to Jane Austen's work, but also adds more wit and fun. Tha characters are truely enjoyable. Posted by Picasa
